Contact all the garage bands on and around campus, and see who’s interested in a Battle of the Bands type concert competition. It’s a chance for them to expand their fan base and a chance for you to rake in the coin for your cause. Charge admission at the door (take a few bucks off if they bring a couple of canned food items), and bands can get pledges for the number of votes they receive. Everyone loves live music, and it’s an inexpensive evening of entertainment sure to attract a huge crowd!
