Approach a local golf club or arena (your campus has at least one) and plan a dinner with entertainment. Hold a silent auction with donated prizes to raise even more cash. Seek sponsorship for each hole for golf or for each player for hockey. Set a player’s participation fee, such as $75 for golf and dinner.
